Hi Mel,
I have justed viewed the footage of your husband. I have to say I was very proud of how he has been able to turn a negative into a positive.

I wish him, you and your family the very best for the future.

Oh My God Mel, my husband and I are incredibly amazed by this video! I am so sorry for his struggle, but how he has turned his life around to not only be the person he needs to be for himself but also for his family and others struggling.

He's such an incredible inspiration for not only people in recovery but to everyone the way that he has been there for so many people.

And not only that, hearing his story gives me that much more admiration for you. What an incredible job you do raising your 4 beautiful children, supporting your husband, and working towards fulfilling your own dreams.

You both should be extremely proud!

I am in AWE. Your husband is an amazing and inspiring Individual.

My Best Friend was married to an addict. He tried, but he chose crystal over his family. Recovery does not come easy, nor does it come without a price. I do not know where he is, but his family is well and happy. Although I am sure his actions influence their daily life.

I wish your family the best and brightest.

Thank you guys SO MUCH for these VERY nice comments...I do need to clear one thing up though...Todd was sober when I met him..he had ONE year sobriety, so it was still a struggling time for him, but I did not witness him self-destruct...

I really HOPE this blog video has helped someone out there struggling, not to give up and know they also can change their life around in a postive direction!!!

I am a recovering addict/alcoholic with 20 years and just this past year became an Ironman. An Ironman is hard, but nothing compared to the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual hardship of life as an active alcoholic/addict. Kudos to your husband, you and your kids for your life in recovery. Thanks for sharing! Mary H
