I guess some times it is a good thing when you do not have much to blog about:) I have been doing a lot of nothing....trying to get my house organized...going to soccer....... getting ready to travel to San Fran for my brother-in-laws wedding....going crazy trying to get the suits and flower girl dresses ordered ALL my kids are in the wedding... talk about a lot of $$$$$$$ being spent on something they will wear ONCE..I could rant on that forever.....but I guess it is a happy day (eh right..ha) I also have the challenge of picking clothes out for my mother-in-law...she needed some major help:) so where does that leave me...YIP still dress less....What am I going to wear????? Any IDEAS????????
My running is coming along....as much as possible...Todd has been traveling a lot, but I am still managing 30 miles of running in a week three 10mile runs...I am enjoying the weather change...still warm enough to wear sleeveless shirts, but cold enough to bust out the running tights....For some reason I don't like having anything on my arms when I run....So if you see a nut running in Splish in the middle of winter that possibly could be me:) By the time I reach mile one I am hot as heck and have to start stripping:) I am also trying that thing called STRETCHING...I hate it...but I think since I am getting old I need to fit it in...(so that is me stretching in photo) Thrilled I know :)
Not much more to report....Looking forward to a little(solo) trip to Florida to visit with my Mom and watch Clearwater championships...so if you will be there let me know so I can cheer you on:)

I hate having to spend all the $ on weddings. I spent enough money in 2007 to pay down our monthly mortgage because my kids were in so many weddings. Great job on fitting in the running - it is so tough when they hubby travels.
Wear the splishy and you'll blow them all away!

Mel, your pictures speak a thousand words! :) I love the way your racing flats coordinate with everything. Glad you are getting the running in- it reminds me of Madonna back in the day when she would run 10 miles per run. I think, though, that you could beat Madonna in both a race and fashion contest.
I still remember the pics of you sitting in your suit out in the snow last year!! LOL!! I hate stretching too, but I am finding that I have to do it now. I guess it is part of getting older. Nice pic by the way. :-)
Mel - in the interest of me not being able to visit your blog anymore.. no more amazingly hot pictures of yourself!! My wife came walking by and she says, "so who's the hot piece of meat.." So I had to go into the whole explination of how she's the most amazing wonderful and beautiful wife that I could or would ever have.. geeeshh.. ;-)
I hear your pain on the whole wedding thing.. Us guys have to pay to rent the tux.. at least you get to keep what you buy!

I so have no opinion on weddings. They really do have the best parties (well, at least MY friends do)! Although as all my friends have gotten married and I have stayed single I really have spent a ton on bridesmaid dresses, gifts, bachelorette parties, and lingerie showers... Now that I think about it, I really should pull a Carie Bradshaw from SATC and have a shower celebrating my single life and my commitment to me. Ha!

I just got married in July and felt bad about asking people to spend $$, that was the hardest part of wedding planning for me (seriously, it was). I don't know if there's a Jack and Jill shop near you (ours is in Cincinnati), but my flower girl got her dress from there and they had some nice sales. It was so cute! And I put my nephew (ring bearer) in the cheapest rental tux possible, it still looked like the other tuxes b/c they are so small you don't notice the "cheap" differences.
